Keema Potol Dorma কীমা পটল দোরমা (Non Veg)
Recipe

Ingredients
Pointed Gourd (Potol /পটল) : 12 pieces
Mustered Oil : 1 Cup

For the stuffing:

Minced Meat (মটন / চিকন কীমা Keema) : 500 gms
Onions (finely chopped) : 400gms
Ginger paste : 2 tsp
Garlic (paste) : 2 tsp
Cloves : 4 pcs
Red chilli powder : 1 1/2 tsp
Green chillies (Finely chopped) : 3 pieces
Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
Garam masala powder : 1tsp
Salt : to taste

For the gravy:

Onion paste : 2 medium size onions
Bayleaves (তেজ পাতা) : 3
Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
Garam masala powder : 1 tsp
Ginger paste : ½ tsp
Ginger paste : ½ tsp
Salt : to taste

Method
Take a deep bowl and wash the potols (পটল). Clean and scrape it lightly. Cut both the ends of the potols (পটল). Take out the seeds from one end with the help of a pointed knife without damaging the other end. Keep it aside for 15 minutes by rubbing a little salt inside and outside the potols (পটল).
Now in a deep kadhai deep fry the potols (পটল) till it turns golden brown. Keep it aside for few minutes.

For the stuffing:

For stuffing, fry the chopped onions and ginger garlic paste together. Once it turns golden brown add keema, green chillies, salt, turmeric and red chilli powder into it. Cook it in low flame till it is completely cooked. Add garam masala and keep it aside for few minutes.
Once it cools down fill the stuffing inside the fried potols.

For the gravy:
Heat oil in a deep vessel. Once the oil become hot enough add bay leaves & ginger garlic paste into it. When it turns golden brown add turmeric and chilli powder to it. Add normal temperature water. When it starts boiling add the stuffed potols and cook it in low flame till the gravy becomes thick. Add garam masala and serve hot with hot rice.
