Spinach Shrimp পালংশাক চিংড়ি মাছ দিয়ে


Shrimp (বাগদা-চিংড়ি): 250gm
Spinach (পালংশাক): 250gm
Onion: 1 big onion paste
Garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder : ¼ teaspoon
Coriander powder: ¼ teaspoon
Cream: 50gm or
Milk: 100gm
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder: a pinch
Green cardamoms: 2 pcs
Cloves: 5 pcs
Kasturi methi: 2 teaspoon


  1. Wash the shrimp (বাগদা-চিংড়ি) and marinate it with salt and turmeric and keep it aside for 15min.
  2. Boil the spinach and make a paste of it. Keep it aside.
  3. In a pan, heat some oil and fry the shrimps until they are cooked.
  4. Keep the fried shrimps in a different bowl.
  5. In the same oil add onion and garlic paste. Add salt. Cook it until the colour of onion changes to translucent. Remove the onions from the pan.
  6. Make a paste of – fried onions and 3-4 fried shrimps.
  7. Heat the pan, put oil, add some grinded cardamom and cloves. Now add the onion and shrimp paste to it. Add cumin and coriander powder and cook it for 10mins on medium heat.
  8. Add the boiled spinach paste to this gravy and let it cook for another 10mins.
  9. Add the shrimps and again cook it for 10mins.
  10. Now add the cream or milk. Cover the pan with a lid and let the entire thing cook for another 10mins.
  11. As soon as the gravy comes to boil remove it from the heat add kasturi mehti.
  12. It is done.


Serve it hot with Nan (নান রুটি) or rice
